Cogs, Dogs And Other Ogs

A Seriously Hilarious Look At Personality Types™

What is "Og"

Og (pronounced “awg” – similar to Oz or Ox)

Og is the embodiment of all the great leadership qualities wrapped up into one amazing person. The kind of leader that everyone wants to work with, no matter the corporate title.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH...

O.G. (short for “original gangster”)

O.G. is a slang term for someone who’s incredibly exceptional, authentic, or “old-school.” O.G. was originally used in gang culture, but it is now used as a general term to praise someone who is an expert at something.

That said, you may want to consider becoming the Og O.G. in your company!!

And Og has a number of friends. Some That are amazing leaders, some that are great coworkers, and some that are a little more difficult to work with.

Let's Meet The Ogs:

Bog Swampington

Stuck in the comfort zone, Bog resists change and loves what has been. Innovation and growth is for others.

Hog Selfmire

Self proclaimed winner of the "Me, Myself & I" competition. Takes the glory and passes the blame.

Justin Fog

Navigating life in the moment with no clear direction. Getting nowhere quickly but can't see it.

Clog N Holdem

The ultimate proponents of "playing it safe" gets in the way of progress. Nothing gets pass them.

Blog Hypeman

A true giver by oversharing, over explaining, and over exaggerating. A lot of talk with very little action.

Frog Addman

Great at adaptability and resilient in the face of change but can have a deficit in attention to detail.

Loyala Doghart

The loyal, service-oriented leader who prioritizes relationships and morale, often putting others first.

Jog Steady

The steady, determined leader setting a consistent pace and achieving goals through persistence.

Teama Cogsworth

They make the machine work better, embracing calculated risks and innovative ideas.

Og Ultimate

The best balance of all the great qualities! Loyal, steady, agile, & team focused. A smart worker & great leader.

Am I Serious? or is this a joke?

What began as a tongue-in-cheek prank to lighten the mood of a 5 person Executive team at the end of an exhausting 3-day retreat, has turned into a legitimate leadership training.

Both fun and funny in its content, as well as engaging and enlightening in its concepts, Cogs, Dogs and Other Ogs is quickly becoming one of the most sought after keynotes in the speaking industry.

"A Seriously Hilarious Look at Leadership Mindset” is the perfect subtitle. Am I serious about this? Or is this a joke? I’ll let you decide if this just entertainment, or if there are some truths in these leadership qualities with pertinent takeaways to make you take a second look at your own behaviors and mindset as a member of the team.

Speaking of Og... What's the Keynote about?

Let's talk leadership styles. Let's talk employee mindset. Let's talk personality types. And let's LAUGH while we LEARN!!

This is no boring PowerPoint presentation! Nay, nay! It’s part keynote, part leadership training, part theater and part improvisation.

Part THEATER?? With our Premium and Executive Package we will sprinkle in a cast of 3 comedic actors to portray the “Og Leaders” archetypes. And VIOLA! You have yourself one of the most unique and memorable experiences your company has ever LEARNED from.

Together we will explore each of the different Ogs personalities, their characteristics and behaviors. We'll discuss the pros and cons in an insightful and hysterical way.

Are you familiar with Meyers-Briggs? DiSC Assessment? Enneagram?

The Og Personality Types framework is a fun, insightful assessment tool designed to help individuals better understand their leadership style, collaboration approach, and problem-solving tendencies. Unlike traditional assessments that focus heavily on either nature (Myers-Briggs), nurture (Enneagram), or observable behavior in workplace settings (DiSC), the Og framework blends these elements with a focus on adaptive behaviors—how people react under pressure, lead others, and navigate challenges.

The 9 Og archetypes are simple yet powerful, each representing distinct leadership qualities and behavioral patterns. Whether you’re a steady Jog, an innovative Cog, or an agile Frog, every Og type provides a unique lens for understanding both personal strengths and growth opportunities. The framework is designed to be engaging and practical, with immediate real-world applications for personal development, team building, and leadership enhancement.

Engaging Format:

Og Personality Types use vivid archetypes and storytelling to create an engaging experience, making the insights not just memorable, but also easy to communicate across teams.

Balanced Approach:

While Myers-Briggs leans heavily toward nature and Enneagram focuses on nurture, the Og framework strikes a balance by recognizing both innate traits and the importance of adaptability in various situations. This makes it especially relevant in dynamic environments like workplaces, families, and communities.

Cultural Stickiness:

The playful and metaphorical nature of Og types (e.g., “Don’t let this project get Bogged down” or “We need more Cog thinkers on this team”) fosters a shared language that can enhance culture long after the initial assessment.

Growth Orientation:

Unlike Myers-Briggs, which primarily focuses on understanding and accepting who you are, and DiSC, which focuses on managing behaviors, Og Personality Types push for continuous growth and improvement by encouraging individuals to become the “Ultimate Og”—the best version of themselves in any situation.

Conclusion

While Myers-Briggs offers depth in understanding cognitive preferences, Enneagram explores emotional motivators, and DiSC excels at addressing observable behavior in teams, Og Personality Types fill a unique niche by combining elements of all three into an engaging, story-driven model. Whether you’re a leader looking to inspire your team, an event planner seeking a transformative workshop, or simply someone interested in personal growth, Og Personality Types offer a fresh, fun, and practical approach to understanding yourself and others.

What?!?

STILL Need More Convincing??

"Look, I get it—you might be thinking, 'This sounds too different, too playful, too… out there.' You might even be tempted to Bog down in the mindset that this isn’t serious enough for your team. But here’s the deal: if you’re stuck thinking this isn’t worth it, you’re probably in the Fog—you can’t see the value clearly because you’re too wrapped up in the way things have always been done. And that’s exactly WHY you NEED this. Teams need clarity, direction, and a fresh way of thinking about how they work together. Whether you're a Cog looking to innovate, a Jog who needs to pace your crew, or a Dog ready to hustle toward results, this framework is designed to cut through the clutter, break through the resistance, and get your team moving forward. Don’t let a clogged mindset block you from giving your people something that could energize, inspire, and create lasting change. Be the one who sees the big picture—book this experience, and watch your team transform."
